2011 Nebraska Softball Format

• This format is only followed for broadcasts that are fully produced on our NET-1, NET-2, or NET-3 satellite channel.  Internet only softball games are not produced, do not follow a format, and are not to be broadcast live by any affiliate.
   
• Broadcast begins 15 minutes prior to the first pitch, except games that replace Sports Nightly.  Start times will be rounded to the closest quarter hour (for example, a 6:05PM first pitch would have start time of 5:45PM).  The broadcast will start at 6:00:00PM Central time with first pitch shortly after.

• Station ID breaks will be taken near the top of each hour, and will last for 15 seconds.  We do not take bottom of the hour legal ID breaks.

• Broadcast open and close will contain a 20 second donut for local affiliate sponsor mentions.  This will follow the network sponsor mentions.

• All local breaks contain two extra seconds so affiliates may insert their own local identification stinger.  For example, a two minute local break will be two minutes and two seconds long.  A one minute break will be one minute and two seconds long.
   
• Always monitor the home page and calendar of our affiliate website, nebraskaradio.net for updates on game postponements/cancellations.
