Contact Closures Now On NET-2
As we continue to expand and improve our new Lincoln Broadcast Operations Center, we have added capability to send contact closures for both NET-1 and NET-2 for all Husker Sports Network produced programming.  For example, Volleyball games that are on NET-2 will have contact closures for local breaks, legal ID, end of game, and local sponsor liners.  Events not produced by the Husker Sports Network (ie: Nebraska Broadcasters Association call-in shows) will not have contact closures as these shows are not produced in the Husker Sports Network Broadcast Operations Center.  Please make sure your engineer has wired your automation system to the contact closure connections on your Husker Sports Network satellite receiver (refer to the tech notes for details).

Meet The Huskers Now Available
Our first batch of Meet The Huskers features are available here on the affiliate website.  We anticipate producing at least 20 features, and possibly more based on player availability.  Each file you download will have our produced open and network sponsor spot (Sinclair Oil), then a three second gap where you may edit in your local sponsor spot, followed by the Meet The Huskers feature.  If you would like a custom close produced which mentions your local sponsor, email that copy to operations@huskersportsnetwork.com and we'll send the MP3 back to you.

Football Format Has Changed!!!
We have finalized the football format for 2008, and it has been posted in the Formats section of this affiliate website.  There have been a few changes, most notably the position of the scoreboard and locker room shows have been swapped so we can get the locker room comments from players on the network quicker.
